Sixers force Game 7 in Boston

Even Allen Iverson took some time out and showed up to support the Philadelphia 76er’s in their quest to advance into the Eastern Conference Finals. The Sixers took the home crowd for a ride as the Celtics fell 82-75 in game six. Led by Sixer veterans Elton Brand and Andre Iguodala, (both of whom may very well not be back in Red, White and Blue next season).

Brand, with his wobbly knees and all, scored 13 points and added 10 boards while Andre Igudala, wobbly ankle and all, managed 12 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal while Guard Jrue Holiday dropped 20 points with six assists while remaining perfect from the line going 6-6.

Head Coach Doug Collins knew that the Celtics were still dangerous and wanted to keep the peddle to the metal.

“We just wanted to keep in the attack mode. I didn’t want to start shooting jump shots against that team,” Sixers coach Doug Collins.

Philadelphia returns to the TD Garden for Game 7 Saturday May 26th.
