Sixers fall to Mavericks on the road

Dallas Forward Monta Ellis scored 13 third quarter points en route to 24 total points in a 94-97 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.  The Sixers had opportunities and were down by six with thirty seconds remaining when the Mavericks turned it over, one of 20 in the game.  Philadelphia was unable to capitalize and the game ended with a Shawn Marion dunk at the buzzer.

”I thought we battled and showed a lot of heart to come back from arguably our worst performance in New Orleans, and we lost to a good team,” Philadelphia coach Brett Brown said.

Philadelphia faces the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Great seats and tickets are still available.
